Jesus Talks With a Samaritan Woman
John 4 is one of my favorite chapters. There is so much in this...if I had a lot more time I would talk about all the things the Lord has shown me in this chapter about worship and about His love for each of us as individuals. God desires to use our lives as a testimony to show this broken world who He is!! I encourage you to read the entire chapter. One nugget the Holy Spirit highlighted to me years ago as when I was reading this chapter was how Jesus had come up to the well because the Pharisees (or the religious people) were trying to bring division and strife between Jesus followers and John the Baptist... That darned old religious spirit operating even then to divide us. We look and see in this chapter that Jesus and his love for this woman He called her out, and also explained the father's heart to her and His love. She went and evangelized to her entire city! How important his chapter is in so many ways,
As we continuously pray for our city and go tell others of His goodness, I believe that we're going to see a lot more coming into the kingdom not just based on our testimony (that's a starting point) but they will know who God is because they will meet Jesus!
